At Hartsel Ranch we want to give our guests a comfortable place to stay in the outdoor paradise of South Park. Fishermen will fall in love with the productive, scenic streams and reservoirs in the area. Non-fishing guests will be equally mesmerized by the incredible vistas in every direction. Come stay and see what makes Hartsel Ranch such a unique property.

Breakfast
Continental breakfast and coffee will be served from 7-9 am daily for lodge guests.

THINGS TO DO
Fly Fishing
With miles of streams on the property including roughly 2 miles of private water Hartsel Ranch is a fly fisherman's paradise. The South Fork of the South platte flows out of Antero Reservoir and slowly meanders through the valley until its confluence with the Middle Fork. It is classic hopper dropper water and harbors some surprisingly big fish in its undercut banks. The Middle Fork is similar to the south fork but faster flowing and larger, it generally holds larger fish as well.
Horseback Riding
With adequate prior notice, we can connect you with local ranches that offer trail rides.
Explore the Area
The area surrounding the property is Scenic and full of western history. Explore the Towns of Fairplay and Buena Vista located only 30 minutes away! The nearby reservoirs Spinney Mountain Reservoir, Eleven mile Reservoir and Antero Reservoir are located only 10-20 minutes away from the property.
