Session One: June 24-26th
Arrive at Hartsel Ranch the evening of June 24th for dinner at the lodge. June 25th includes breakfast followed by a full day of guided fishing with a packed gourmet lunch on the water. The evening returns to the ranch for drinks, appetizers, and dinner. On June 26th, enjoy breakfast and another full day of fishing with a packed lunch. The retreat concludes after fishing.
Session Two: June 27-29th

What To Expect
Fish the waters you have always wanted to fish. Spend two full days on South Park’s most productive private water fisheries with experienced guides who teach effective tactics and put you on fish.
Evenings are spent back at the ranch enjoying hosted dinners, drinks, and time to unwind after full days on the water. This retreat is ideal for anglers seeking access to private waters not open to the public, paired with great fishing and an easygoing atmosphere.

Guests are welcome to bring their own fly fishing gear, or simply arrive ready to fish. We are happy to outfit and equip you with everything needed for a successful stillwater experience. Weather in the high country can change quickly, so we recommend dressing in layers and preparing for a range of conditions throughout the day. Comfortable outerwear, sun protection, and personal essentials will help you stay focused on fishing and enjoying the experience. We will take care of the rest.

Hartsel Ranch
Hartsel Ranch sits in the heart of Hartsel, Colorado, where the Middle Fork and South Fork of the South Platte River come together. The property features over a mile of private river access, with strong populations of brown and rainbow trout and seasonal opportunities for trophy cutbows in spring and early summer, and trophy browns in late summer and fall.
Boxwood Gulch Ranch
Widely regarded as one of the premier private trout fisheries in the Rocky Mountains, Boxwood Gulch has been carefully managed for quality fly fishing under the same ownership since 1988. Nearly a mile of river has been thoughtfully enhanced over time to create exceptional habitat for the BIG trout that call this water home.
Dream Stream
The Dream Stream, a renowned section of the South Platte River, meanders gracefully between the Spiney Mountain and Eleven Mile Reservoirs. This picturesque part of the river offers avid anglers an opportunity to indulge in a truly exceptional fishing expedition. Famed for its abundance of trophy-sized rainbows, browns and cutthroat, the pristine waters and awe-inspiring natural beauty will leave a lasting impression.
